Football Recap: Ball Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ball fell victim to Barbers Hill and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 48-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The Tornadoes lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 62-60 score last time.

Ball didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jayvian Joseph and Isaiah Washington.

Barbers Hill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tripp Davis out in front who picked up 112 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Another passer making a difference was Brady Barrier, who threw for 181 yards and three TDs while completing 78.6% of his passes.

Ball has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Barbers Hill, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Coincidentally, Ball and Barbers Hill will both be playing West Brook the next time they take the field. The Tornadoes will host the Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on November 7.
