Football Recap: Edison Picks Up 14th Straight Win at Home

Edison had won 13 straight home games dating back to last season and Rakyia Louis did her part to make it 14 on Thursday. The Edison Red Raiders simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Carol City Chiefs 28-0 which was due in part to Louis, who threw for 246 yards and four touchdowns. Louis is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: she's passed for at least three every time she's taken the field this season.

Edison didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Malayisa David and Camille Canidate.

Edison's record is now 8-0. As for Carol City, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

Edison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-0 win against Jackson on the 17th. As for Carol City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Don Soffer Aventura on the 18th.
