Baseball Recap: Earlham Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Earlham was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the Madrid Tigers, falling 9-1. The Cardinals have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Earlham's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Madrid, their victory ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Earlham will head out to square off against Pleasantville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madrid, they will venture away from home to face off against Glidden-Ralston at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
