Levelland won the last time they faced Borger and things went their way on Friday too. The Lobos blew past the Bulldogs 46-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Lobos have posted against the Bulldogs since October 19, 2018.

Ethan Salazar continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 144 yards and two TDs on only ten passes, while also rushing for 35 yards and one score. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (152.1). Another player making a difference was Noah Martin, who rushed for 89 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Levelland was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 233 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Levelland has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.5 points over those games. As for Borger, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Levelland will face off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Rangers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.67 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
