Baseball Recap: Rancho Cucamonga Triumphs

While Rancho Cucamonga didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They never let the Lakewood Lancers get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Saturday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Aiden Bravo was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Brock Foulds, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-4.

Rancho Cucamonga's record now sits at 6-2. As for Lakewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Rancho Cucamonga is facing Adelanto at the right time seeing as Adelanto is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Lakewood, they will challenge Compton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
