Basketball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland and George Washington Prep squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Cleveland had to settle for second. They fell 43-34 to the George Washington Prep Generals. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Generals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2016.

Cleveland has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season. George Washington Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Cleveland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for George Washington Prep, they will take on Chatsworth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
