Baseball Recap: Norwood Mustangs vs. Holliston Panthers

After flying high against Dedham last Monday, Norwood came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell 5-2 to the Holliston Panthers on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Frank Sheehan was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched.

At the plate, Mike Grenham made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Dearborn, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Norwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Holliston, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.
