Baseball Recap: Westville Blackhawks vs. La Lumiere Lakers

Westville extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 4-8 in the process. They lost 14-2 to the La Lumiere Lakers. The Blackhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lakers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Westville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mark Krichkan, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

As for La Lumiere, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4. The result was nothing new for the Lakers, who have now won three games by six runs or more so far this season.

Looking ahead, Westville will challenge South Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for La Lumiere, they will take on Michigan City at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
