It's playoff time, and Archbishop McNicholas had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Meadowbrook Colts on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Rockets, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Archbishop McNicholas never let Meadowbrook on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22, 25-14.

Savanna Stacey paced Archbishop McNicholas' offense, picking up 19 kills. Stacey got some help from Maria Schulte and her 19 assists. Lauren Radtke controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Journey Nicola and Sommer Ginn certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Nicola had 15 digs and three assists, while Ginn had nine digs. Nicola is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Archbishop McNicholas' victory bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Meadowbrook, with the defeat, they broke their ten-match winning streak and moved their record to 25-3.

Archbishop McNicholas has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Buckeye Valley on the 8th. Meadowbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
