Basketball Recap: Thackerville Takes a Loss

Thackerville entered their game against Turner on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Thackerville Wildcats took a blow against the Turner Falcons, falling 66-24. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 42-41.

Thackerville's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-7. As for Turner, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-10.

Thackerville will take on Bray-Doyle at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Thackerville is facing Bray-Doyle at the right time seeing as Bray-Doyle is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Turner, they are taking a road trip to square off against Ryan at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Ryan has won seven straight at home, while Turner won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
