Basketball Game Preview: Wyatt Chaparrals vs. University Trojans

Having just played yesterday, the Wyatt Chaparrals will head out on the road to face off against the University Trojans at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Wyatt has given up an average of 61.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wyatt is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Thursday. They took a 68-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Waco. That's two games in a row now that the Chaparrals have lost by exactly 11 points.

University not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since December 14, 2024 (when they won 54-16). They took their game with ease, bagging a 63-31 win over Meyer. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

The victory got University back to even at 2-2. As for Wyatt, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Wyatt was taken down by University 87-32 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can the Chaparrals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
