Volleyball Recap: Elma Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Elma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Raymond/South Bend Ravens, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Elma took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 25-17.

Leading Raymond/South Bend to victory were Olivia White-Kelley and Elizabeth Lewis. White-Kelley had nine digs and three aces, while Lewis had ten digs and one assist. That's the most aces White-Kelley has posted since back in September.

Elma's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Raymond/South Bend, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Elma will head out to square off against Hoquiam at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Raymond/South Bend, they will venture away from home to challenge Willapa Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
