Soccer Recap: White County Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, White County was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cumberland County Jets, falling 4-1. White County have struggled against Cumberland County recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

White County's goal came courtesy of Joi Stepp, who's now up to seven this season.

White County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Cumberland County, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White County will head out to take on Chattanooga Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cumberland County, they will venture away from home to challenge Upperman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Upperman's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
