Mountain Ridge won the last time they faced Hampshire and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Miners' defense stepped up to hand the Trojans a 7-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Allie Kniriem as she scored three goals for her team.

Mountain Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Hampshire, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's still a better percentage than their 1-6-1 record this season.
