If Sullivan was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Owensville last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sullivan Eagles lost 3-0 to the Union Wildcats on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as their game on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
While Sullivan ultimately came up short, they really made Union work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 28-26, 25-16.
Despite the loss, Sullivan saw an underclassman step up: Andi Giebler had 16 digs.
