Volleyball Recap: Freedom Comes Up Short

Freedom was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Las Lomas Knights. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in March of 2023.

Mason Crawford paced Freedom's offense, picking up three kills. Crawford got some help from Devin Sandoval and his four assists. Sandoval was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Freedom's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Las Lomas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Freedom didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Miramonte on the 8th. As for Las Lomas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Bishop O'Dowd on the 8th.
