Football Recap: Athol Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Athol was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 30-18 to the Belchertown Orioles. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Orioles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2017.

Coleman Longley had a dynamite game For Belchertown., rushing for 114 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. That's the most rushing yards Longley has posted since back in September.

Athol's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Belchertown, their record is now 6-4.

Athol and Belchertown will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Bears see the field they'll take on Mahar Regional at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. As for Belchertown, their break will end when they face Pathfinder RVT at 9:00 a.m. on the 27th.
