Football Game Preview: Clear Falls Knights vs. Clear Brook Wolverines + Official Tickets

The Clear Falls Knights will face off against the Clear Brook Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Clear Falls has three straight victories, Clear Brook has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Clear Falls strolled past Clear Springs with points to spare, taking the game 49-35. The Knights pushed the score to 49-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chargers cut but never quite recovered from.

A big part of Clear Falls' win came down to the chemistry between Kyden Barker and his top target Zach Greer. Barker threw for 343 yards and six TDs while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt while Greer picked up 136 receiving yards and four scores.

One reason for the win was Clear Falls' imposing defensive line, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In that department, Khristian Knowles was the leader with two. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.7 total tackles per game. Clear Falls got some further help from Tristan Gaviria: he made 14 total tackles (3.0 for loss).

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Clear Brook and Clear Creek meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Wolverines were outmatched by the Wildcats and fell 47-10.

Clear Brook's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Clear Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for Clear Falls against Clear Brook in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 70-14 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Wolverines' Jayden Dansby, who rushed for 77 yards and one touchdown. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Knights still be able to contain Dansby? There's only one way to find out.
