Basketball Recap: Simi Valley Takes a Loss

Simi Valley was the 62-45 winner over Royal when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Simi Valley Pioneers took a blow against the Royal Highlanders on Monday, falling 70-43. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Simi Valley still got an impressive performance from Trevor Hiscocks, who posted ten points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Josiah Dale, who had eight points.

Simi Valley's loss dropped their record down to 11-17. As for Royal, the win got them back to even at 14-14.

As of now, neither Simi Valley nor Royal have any future games scheduled.
