Paloma Valley has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lakeside recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Liberty hit Paloma Valley with a four-run fourth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bison by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by just one run.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Lakeside's offense. They fell 3-0 to Poly on Thursday. The Lancers just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Lakeside's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Paloma Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.
