If Burlington Christian Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played The Burlington School, they should've done a better job of containing Alaiyah Mitchell. The Burlington School Spartans simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Burlington Christian Academy Royals 70-28 thanks in part to Mitchell, who dropped a triple-double on 23 points, 12 boards, and ten steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Burlington Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore K Cockman posted eight points.

The Burlington School has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Burlington Christian Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 10-9 record.

The Burlington School wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 83-6 win against Carolina Friends on the 5th. Burlington Christian Academy has also already played their next game, a 39-21 victory against Cristo Rey Research Triangle on the 4th.
