Volleyball Recap: Piggott's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

It was a good run, but Piggott unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Cotter Warriors by a score of 3-2.

Piggott started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 24-26, 19-25, 25-21, 25-19, 15-10.

Piggott's loss dropped their record down to 22-6. As for Cotter, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.

Piggott will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Holcomb at 6:00 p.m. on October 9, 2026. Cotter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
