Soccer Recap: Evander Childs Takes a Loss

Evander Childs was the 4-0 winner over Monroe Campus when they last played one another back in October of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Monroe Campus on Tuesday.

Evander Childs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Monroe Campus, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Evander Childs will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bronx High School of Science at 1:30 p.m. on the 11th. As for Monroe Campus, they will head out to challenge Columbus at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Monroe Campus will be up against Columbus' rather soft defense (which has allowed three goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
