Apalachee is headed out to face Loganville Christian Academy after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Wildcats snuck past Mountain View with a 50-44 win on Tuesday.

Apalachee found their leader in sophomore Sophia Beaty, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Tay Johnson, who posted five points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Loganville Christian Academy's strategy against Social Circle on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Lions blew the Redskins out of the water with a 57-24 final score. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Lions had established a 31-point advantage.
