Football Game Preview: Pine Tree Pirates vs. Almeta Crawford Chargers + How To Watch

The Pine Tree Pirates will square off against the Almeta Crawford Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Pine Tree sitting on three straight wins and Almeta Crawford on nine.

Pine Tree is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Yates by a score of 35-27. 35 seems to be a good number for the Pirates as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Pine Tree found their leader in sophomore Bryk Bratton, who rushed for 167 yards and one score while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.

Pine Tree was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Yates only rushed for 139.

Meanwhile, Almeta Crawford beat Lindale 35-28 on Friday.

Pine Tree better keep an eye on Alvin Mosley. He was instrumental in Almeta Crawford's win, picking up 113 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 60 yards and two TDs on only six carries. Mosley got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 53 yards. Another player making a difference was Braylen Fisher, who threw for 296 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Almeta Crawford's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Pine Tree, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
