Volleyball Recap: Marquette Takes a Loss

Marquette lost against Calumet on October 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sentinels came up short against the Copper Kings, falling 3-0. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Marquette's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11-1. As for Calumet, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8-1 record this season.

Marquette wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Forest Park on the 18th. As for Calumet, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Kingsford on the 18th.
