Basketball Recap: Jesuit Extends Winning Streak to Three

Jesuit won the last time they faced Southeast and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tigers put the hurt on the Seminoles with a sharp 71-46 victory. The Tigers pushed the score to 65-36 by the end of the third, a deficit the Seminoles cut but never quite recovered from.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jesuit to victory, but perhaps none more so than Damien Ross, who shot 64% from the field on his way to 15 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Tyler Caouette, who posted 15 points and four steals.

The win (which was Jesuit's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 78.7 points this season. As for Southeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Jesuit will host Poinciana Christian Preparatory at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Southeast, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gibbs at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
