Homer-Center is a perfect 10-0 against Penns Manor since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Comets at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Homer-Center has four straight victories, Penns Manor has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Tuesday, Homer-Center made easy work of Purchase Line and carried off a 15-1 win. That looming 15-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.

Those two runs gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Drew Fisher was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Brayden Rado was another key player, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and two runs.

Penns Manor's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Homer-Center has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .460. It's a different story for Penns Manor, though, as they've only averaged .332. Will they be able to contain Homer-Center's hitters?
Homer-Center took their victory against Penns Manor in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
