Football Game Preview: Weldon Chargers vs. Hobgood Charter Raiders + Official Tickets

The Weldon Chargers will head out on the road to take on the Hobgood Charter Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Weldon comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Weldon's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy on Friday. They took a blow against the Trojans, falling 60-0.

Meanwhile, Hobgood Charter was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 26-20 to Bear Grass Charter. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Weldon will have to contain Jacob Tutor as he made an impact in Hobgood Charter's last game. He rushed for 104 yards and one TD on only 11 carries. Tutor is becoming a predictor of Hobgood Charter's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-4 when he doesn't). The Raiders also got help from Armanti Alston, who showed off his sure hands for 84 receiving yards.

Weldon's record now sits at 0-7. As for Hobgood Charter, their record is now 3-5.
