Basketball Recap: River Andrews' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Easley over Dorman

Easley lost against Dorman back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Green Wave fell 79-69 to the Cavaliers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (58), the Green Wave still had to take the loss.

Easley's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was River Andrews, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 19 points. Thanks to that strong game, Andrews now owns an excellent 42.1% three-point shooting accuracy. RJ Stack was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Easley and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Dorman, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Easley will square off against Pickens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dorman, they will face off against Independence at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
