Football Recap: Logan Comes Up Short

Logan extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-3. They were dealt a 56-16 loss at the hands of the Cedar Reds. The Grizzlies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Reds from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Although Logan took the loss, they still got scores from Mason Birch and Kayden Nhean.

As for Cedar, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0. The contest marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

It was another big night for Everett Kelling, who rushed for 128 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dylan Crowley, who picked up 85 receiving yards and one score.

Logan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 25-19 loss against Northridge on the 12th. As for Cedar, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 51-27 win against Manti on the 12th.
