New Albany has gone 8-2 against Groveport-Madison recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The New Albany Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the Groveport-Madison Cruisers at 7:30 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for New Albany and eight for Groveport-Madison.

On Friday, New Albany took a blow against Grove City, falling 66-33. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 398th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 28th).

Meanwhile, Groveport-Madison scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against Lancaster, falling 82-56.

Groveport-Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for New Albany, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

New Albany came up short against Groveport-Madison in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 35-26. Can New Albany avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
