Soccer Recap: Chaparral Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mesa, Chaparral was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They skirted past the Saguaro Sabercats 2-1. Brayden Baker had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Firebirds.

Chaparral's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1. As for Saguaro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Chaparral wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-1 defeat against Sunrise Mountain on the 13th. As for Saguaro, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, an 8-0 victory against Cactus on the 13th.
