Basketball Game Preview: Northland Christian vs. Faith Christian Academy Knights

Northland Christian will head out on the road to face off against the Faith Christian Academy Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Northland Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups.

Northland Christian proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 48) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Maranatha Christian Academy, sneaking past 80-77. Northland Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Faith Christian Academy won against Kingsville on Thursday with 63 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Faith Christian Academy beat Kingsville by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 63-58. The score was all tied up 25-25 at the break, but the Knights were the better team in the second half.

Faith Christian Academy pushed their record up to 17-4 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points over those games. As for Northland Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season.

Northland Christian ended up a good deal behind Faith Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, losing 69-52. Can Northland Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
