Basketball Recap: College Station Takes a Loss

College Station suffered their biggest defeat since December 3, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 69-47 to the Dawson Eagles. The Cougars have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Dawson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kendall Ford led the charge by dropping a double-double on 17 points and 15 boards. That's the most points Ford has posted since back in February of 2024. Jaycee Ingram was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.

College Station's defeat dropped their record down to 20-7. As for Dawson, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

College Station wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-38 loss against Rudder on the 3rd. As for Dawson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 77-22 win against Alvin on the 3rd.
