Softball Recap: Holyoke Comes Up Short

Holyoke couldn't beat Palmer on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Knights lost 19-7 to the Panthers. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Holyoke now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Palmer, they moved to 3-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Holyoke will look to defend their home field on Friday against Gateway Regional at 6:00 p.m. As for Palmer, they will venture away from home to face off against Chicopee at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pacers have averaged an impressive 12.5 runs per game this season.
