Football Recap: Antioch Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Antioch can now relate to. They took a 26-15 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ukiah Wildcats on Friday. The Panthers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Despite the defeat, Antioch saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Joshua Mason rushed for 97 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 12 carries.

Beau David continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ukiah, rushing for 86 yards and one score, while also throwing for 138 yards and a pair of TDs. What's more, David racked up 134.9 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September.

Antioch's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Ukiah, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Antioch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ukiah, they will face off against Vintage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
