Volleyball Game Preview: Lifeline Charter Eagles vs. SEED: LA Grizzlies

After both having extra time off, the Lifeline Charter Eagles and the SEED: LA Grizzlies will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lifeline Charter will be strutting in after a win while SEED: LA will be coming in after a loss.

Last Thursday, Lifeline Charter beat Southwestern Academy 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Southwestern Academy scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-22, 21-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, SEED: LA was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Magnolia Science Academy 5.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Magnolia Science Academy 5 scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 21-25, 25-18.

SEED: LA's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Lifeline Charter, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Lifeline Charter came up short against SEED: LA when the teams last played on September 11th, falling 3-1. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
