Basketball Game Preview: Harvard-Westlake Wolverines vs. Mira Costa Mustangs

The Harvard-Westlake Wolverines will challenge the Mira Costa Mustangs at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Harvard-Westlake's tournament run continued when they took on Carondelet on Tuesday. The Wolverines took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Mira Costa suffered their biggest defeat since January 7th on Tuesday. They were dealt a 79-49 loss at the hands of Sage Hill.

Harvard-Westlake now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mira Costa, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Harvard-Westlake skirted past Mira Costa 55-53 in their previous meeting back in January. Do the Wolverines have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
