Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Jackson Beebout stepped things up a notch to give El Cerrito the 'W'. Beebout struck out six batters over three innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk), which was good enough to set a new career-high in strikeouts.

Beebout's strong effort led El Cerrito over De Anza and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
