Volleyball Recap: Harrison's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Monday

It was a good run, but Harrison unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Ursuline Koalas. The Huskies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Koalas earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Harrison started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-18, 28-26, 25-20.

Harrison's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 7-5. As for Ursuline, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Harrison is set to challenge their familiar foe Yonkers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Ursuline will take on rival Clarkstown North at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
