Basketball Recap: Lincoln Park Academy Piles Up the Points Against Somerset College Prep Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln Park Academy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Somerset College Prep Academy Spartans 92-14. The win continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won six in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lincoln Park Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brianna Matthews, who went 7-for-10 en route to 19 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, Matthews now owns an excellent 47.1% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexa Titherington, who made all 7 shots she took racking up 16 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
