Basketball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Piles Up the Points Against Freedom

Sports Leadership & Management was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Freedom on Wednesday. The Sports Leadership & Management Spartans claimed a resounding 74-33 win over the Freedom Patriots. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while the Patriots are ranked 599th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Derrick Doe, who posted 28 points. Those 28 points gave him a new career-high. Marcelino 'MJ' Rodriguez was another key player, putting up ten points.
