Wilson Area is 9-1 against Notre Dame since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will welcome the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Wilson Area is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.

Wilson Area easily dispatched Moravian Academy on Monday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Warriors fell just short of Pen Argyl by a score of 7-5 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Warriors have suffered since May 26, 2024.

Ryan Bonham made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three runs.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against East Stroudsburg South, falling 15-2.

Notre Dame saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sven Van De Loecht, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Jacob Gillon also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Wilson Area, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

Wilson Area took their win against Notre Dame when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 18-0 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
