Basketball Recap: Shoals Takes a Loss

Shoals lost against Loogootee back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Shoals Jug Rox fell 52-45 to the Loogootee Lions. The Jug Rox's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Shoals' loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Loogootee, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shoals will head out to take on Medora at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Loogootee, they are taking a road trip to face off against Eastern Greene at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
