Tomball Memorial came into Thursday's game looking for another win against Klein, but Edward Kelly Jr wouldn't allow it. The Bearkats took down the Wildcats 56-39 on Thursday for which the team can thank Kelly Jr, who rushed for 390 yards while picking up 16.3 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards.

Klein's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Tomball Memorial, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Klein didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-22 defeat against Magnolia on the 7th. As for Tomball Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 46-42 victory against Klein Oak on the 7th.
