Volleyball Recap: Riverheads Comes Up Short

Riverheads was the 3-2 winner over Waynesboro when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Gladiators took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Little Giants on Thursday. The Gladiators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

When it comes to explaining why Riverheads lost, don't look at Emily Herndon. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and three aces.

Riverheads' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Waynesboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.
