Parke Heritage had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 9-15 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They skirted past the Fountain Central Mustangs 13-11. The Wolves' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

As for Fountain Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since April 14, 2025.

For Fountain Central's part, they got a good showing from Braelynn Kiger, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits Kiger has allowed since back in April.

At the plate, Jacquelynn Weber (Jackie) made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Kailey Daugherty was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Parke Heritage will have a chance to go back-to-back against Fountain Central: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
