Springstead had won four straight games and Michelle Ramirez-Hoyos did her part to make it five on Tuesday. The Eagles came out on top against the River Ridge Royal Knights by a score of 45-36 thanks in part to Ramirez-Hoyos, who posted 18 points and seven boards. She is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 43% in the last three games she's played.

Despite the loss, River Ridge had strong showings from Lexi Wade, who went 7-for-16 en route to 16 points, and Karsyn Miller, who had 12 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Gabrielle Andrews, who earned five points and four steals.

Springstead's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for River Ridge, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Springstead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-6 victory against Central on the 1st. As for River Ridge, they will head out on the road to take on Wiregrass Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on the 3rd.
