Football Recap: Kamiakin Falls Short of Lake Stevens in the Playoffs + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kamiakin can now relate to. They took a blow against the Lake Stevens Vikings on Saturday, falling 55-14. The Braves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.

Jagger McEwen threw for 110 yards on seven of 16 attempts. Korbyn Hopwood was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards.

It was another big night for Blake Moser, who threw for 215 yards and five TDs while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 57 yards for Lake Stevens. That's the most passing touchdowns Moser has posted since back in September. A healthy portion of Moser's aerial production (108 yards to be exact) went to Max Cook, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Kamiakin's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Lake Stevens, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0.

Kamiakin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Stevens, they have already played their next matchup, a 76-41 win against Moses Lake on the 22nd.
